Wine Store Attendant

When: April 16, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 9:30pm
Attire: Business Casual. Slacks, nice jeans, skirt, dress, polo shirt, blouse.
What: Collect completed Wine Store order forms from guests and deliver them to the fulfillment area for processing. Retrieve the ordered wine from the truck and return it promptly to the purchasing guest. Assist attendees as needed with completing order forms accurately to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.

Welcomer

When: April 16, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 7pm
Attire: Business Casual. Slacks, nice jeans, skirt, dress, polo shirt, blouse.
What: Greet guests as they come in and check them in via an iPad.

Requirements: Training will be provided. Volunteers with a basic understanding, familiarity, and comfort learning new tasks with computer software are preferred.

Wine Pull Attendant

When: April 16, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 9pm
Attire: Business Casual. Slacks, nice jeans, skirt, dress, polo shirt, blouse.
What: Manage the Wine Pull station and assist guests participating in this fundraising activity. Guests may purchase a Wine Pull entry for $50, allowing them to select a wrapped bottle of wine at random. Process payments (cash, check, or by adding the purchase to their event cart), record each selection, and reveal the chosen bottle. Mark the bottle as claimed on the tracking board, document the guest’s information, and securely store the wine until pickup at the end of the evening.

Requirements: Training will be provided. Volunteers with a basic understanding and familiarity with computer software are preferred.

Wine Setter

When: April 16, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 9pm
Attire: Black pants and black button up shirt
What: Place wine on place mats that match the specific wine. Briggs pours the wine for the Soirée and the wine setter will place the wines and remove the used wine glasses. Can help the servers with removing plates as well.

Evening Description: We have two WineMasters that will feature 4 wines each. The wine setters will be responsible for placing the first flight of wines, removing the used glasses, setting the second flight of wine, and clearing the tables. There is a 15 minute break between our first and second flight to reset the tables. 

Silent Auction Host

When: April 16, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 9:30pm
Attire: Business Casual. Slacks, nice jeans, skirt, dress, polo shirt, blouse.
What: Engage with guests to promote and discuss silent auction items, answering questions and assisting with the bidding process as needed. At checkout, help locate and distribute auction items to winning bidders, ensuring an organized and efficient pickup experience.

Coat Check & Safe Ride

When: April 16, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: Coat check 4pm-6pm, Safe Ride 7pm - 9pm
Attire: Business Casual. Slacks, nice jeans, skirt, dress, polo shirt, blouse.
What: Welcome guests upon arrival, collect and hang their coats, and issue corresponding claim tickets to ensure smooth retrieval at the end of the evening. Assist with retrieval of coats and the Safe Ride program, which provides complimentary transportation for guests, at the conclusion of the event to ensure their safety.

Wine Pourer

When: April 17, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 10pm
Attire: Black pants and white button up shirt. Black vest and bow tie provided.
What: Pour, serve, and refill wine and champagne for guests throughout the evening. Each pourer will be assigned to a designated section and is responsible for ensuring timely and attentive service within that area. In addition to wine service, some stations may include keg service, which will also require monitoring and refilling as needed.

Additional: An in-person TIPS training will be available through the Foundation. Or Tips training can be completed online.

Evening Description: The night will start with a champagne reception which will be handed to guests as they check in. Guests can refill their champagne. Red wine will be poured and placed early with white wine being poured later.

Pre-Event Setup

When: April 17, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 8AM - 11:30AM
Attire: Comfortable clothes that you move easily in and potentially don't mind getting dirty
What: Set tables for Friday evening. Will need to put on table clothes, chairs around tables, silverware, glasses, table numbers, menus and more.

Tech Support

When: April 17, 2026
Where: MetraPark Pavilion
Time: 4pm - 10pm
Attire: Business Casual. Slacks, nice jeans, skirt, dress, polo shirt, blouse.
What: Assist guests with using QR codes to access and bid on silent auction items throughout the evening. Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for the bidding platform as needed. At the conclusion of the event, help guests check out efficiently and ensure a smooth, positive experience.

Requirements: Training will be provided. Volunteers with a basic understanding and familiarity with computer software are preferred.

Silent Auction Host

Post Event Clean Up

Time: 9:30pm - 12 AM
Attire: Comfortable clothes that you move easily in and potentially don't mind getting dirty
What: Assist with post-event teardown and cleanup. Remove chair covers and table linens, securely pack any silent or live auction items not collected by guests, and help load materials and supplies into the U-Haul for transport. Ensure all items are handled carefully and the venue is left in good condition.
